This Privacy Policy explains how DesignAlign ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit designalign.co.za or contact us through it.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly through our Start a Project, contact and review forms, including your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, and details about your project or message. If you submit a review, we also collect your rating, review text, and whether you give us permission to publish it.
Our web server automatically records standard technical information for every visit, such as IP address, referring page, and browser/user-agent. We use this only for basic, aggregate traffic statistics.
We also use Google Analytics, a third-party analytics service, to understand how visitors use this website (such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrived here). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited. This data is processed by Google and may be transferred outside South Africa; see Google's Privacy Policy for details. We do not use this data to identify you personally, and we do not use third-party advertising cookies on this website. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and proposals, deliver and support project work, and — only where you have explicitly given permission — to publish your review as a testimonial on this website.
How we store and share your information
Form submissions are emailed to DesignAlign and kept in a private log on our hosting server, outside the publicly accessible part of the website. We do not sell your information, and we only share it with third parties where necessary to operate the website (such as our hosting provider) or where required by law.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us using the details below. We aim to handle these requests in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Cookies
